Change Affirmative Sentence To Negative Sentence Without Changing The Meaning

It is often possible to change an affirmative sentence to a negative sentence without changing the meaning. One way of doing this is to use a word opposite in meaning to another word in the given sentence.

  • She was present yesterday. (Affirmative)
  • She was not absent yesterday. (Negative)
  • He is rich. (Affirmative)
  • He is not poor. (Negative)
