Question Tags Worksheet for Class 7

Add appropriate question tags to the following sentences.

After an affirmative statement, we use a negative question tag.

She is here, isn’t she?

After a negative statement, we use an affirmative question tag.

She isn’t here, is she?

The auxiliary verb in the statement is repeated in tag questions.

If there is no auxiliary verb in the statement, we make question tags with do, does or did. Use do and does in the simple present and use did in the simple past tense.

1. She works here, doesn’t she? (We use does here because the verb works is in the present tense.)

5. You saw something there, didn’t you?

6. Sam wants to be an architect, doesn’t he?
