There are mainly three types of adjectives. They are: adjectives of quality, adjectives of quantity and adjectives of number.

Adjectives of quality describe a particular quality or nature of the noun. Examples are: pretty, beautiful, green, tough, easy, large, big etc.

Adjectives of number answer the question how many. Examples are: one, two, three, first, second, third, few, many etc.

Adjectives of quantity answer the question how much. Examples are: some, much, any, little, less, least etc.
