Determiners are words like some, any, much, many, all, both, most, few and little. Articles (a, an, the), possessives (my, his, her, their, your, our) and demonstratives (this, that, these and those) are also determiners.

6. They are few mangoes on the tree. (We use few with plural nouns and less with uncountable nouns.)

7. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. (A little means not much; little means almost nothing.)

8. You have never given me any help. (Some is used in affirmative sentences and any is used in negative or non-negative sentences.)

9. Most of my friends are religious. (We use most of before a noun with a determiner.)

10. All / All of my family live in Kerala. (Either all or all of can be used before a noun with a determiner.)

11. She is friends with many famous people. (Use many with plural nouns.)

12. I earn less money than she does. (Less is the comparative form of little; use less with uncountable nouns like money.)
